Tea in the United States covers everything from a traditional Chinese or Japanese tea house to a Southern sweet-tea counter, and the fastest-growing segment is bubble tea: Taiwanese-style milk teas and fruit teas with tapioca pearls, sold by chains and independents alike with adjustable sugar and ice levels. Tea rooms serving afternoon tea with scones and sandwiches usually require a reservation, while boba shops, juice bars and smoothie shops are walk-in and quick. Kava and kombucha bars are a newer category, and loose-leaf tea stores sell blends, teaware and gifts, often with a tasting counter. Prices for a drink run similar to coffee-shop prices, with premium teas and cold-pressed juices at the high end.

I went in earlier this week to get my regular smoothie which is an Hulk chocolate , and i asked for it to be made with frozen yogurt instead of butter pecan ice cream and it clearly wasn’t because i had an allergic reaction the one who made it was a taller hispanic guy who was more on the skinny side, and was just so rude and seemed so arrogant, i never had an experience at a smoothie king like this they’re usually very nice and welcoming but this guy wasn’t at all. If i could rate my experience a zero i would !!!!

Let me just say this right here: Smoothie King is truly the best in the business, and I don’t hand out compliments lightly. I’m an older Black woman who has lived long enough to know good service when I see it, and baby, they delivered it from the moment I walked through that door. First thing I noticed? Clean. Clean as a whistle. Floors shining, counters spotless, everything in its place. And those young folks behind the counter greeted me with smiles so warm I thought they must’ve known me from somewhere. That’s the kind of hospitality I grew up with — the kind you don’t always see anymore. Now let me emphasize something that absolutely impressed me: those employees kept their gloves on the entire time. Not halfway through, not “oops I forgot,” not switching them out only when somebody’s watching — no ma’am. They had those gloves on from the moment they stepped toward the blenders to the moment they handed me my drink. I watched them like a hawk (because you know sometimes you just have to), and every single one of them handled the food with care, cleanliness, and professionalism. That alone deserves five stars. And when I ordered my smoothie? They didn’t rush me, didn’t give me

Around 3:50pm today, my mom and I ordered a Strawberry Hulk and a Greek Yogurt Pineapple Mango smoothie, which is what we usually get at this location. We’ve never really had problems before, but today the Pineapple Mango smoothie was less than satisfactory. The smoothie was too chunky and too icy, nothing could come up the straw. It’s a very hot day and we just wanted something refreshing, so you can imagine our disappointment. Again, we’ve never had problems with this location before, but we just wanted to make awareness to help for improvement. Any other day, I’d give this place 4 to 5 stars.

I love Smoothie King and this location does not disappoint! Their app is the best! They almost always have coupons and points add quickly for free treats. I typically use the app to order and within 10 mins my order is ready for pickup. The staff is extremely friendly. Inside is very clean and smells of fresh fruit. I highly recommend! Definitely download the app for the extra perks!
